By accessing or using Community Connector (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Community Connector is a private directory and mapping platform that enables schools, clubs, neighborhood groups, and other organizations to help their members connect with one another. Members can share contact information, set a location pin on a community map, and control exactly what information is visible to other members of their organization.

3. User Information and Privacy

You are solely responsible for the information you choose to share on Community Connector, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, and location. By sharing personal data or location information, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with making such information available to other members of your organization.

Community Connector takes reasonable steps to limit access to your information to members of your organization only. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security or prevent misuse by other members. Please share only what you are comfortable with.

4. User Interactions

Community Connector does not monitor, endorse, or take responsibility for communications or interactions between users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members of your organization. We encourage you to use good judgment and take appropriate safety precautions when connecting with others through the Service.

Community Connector is not liable for any harm resulting from user interactions, whether online or in person.

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations
  • Introduce any viruses, malware, or other harmful or disruptive code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share another member's information outside the platform without their consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization

6. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Community Connector is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

7. Modification of Terms

Community Connector reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

8. Termination

Community Connector reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice. You may also delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Community Connector does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Community Connector and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes damages for loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Minnesota.
